Negotiation Masterclass – A program taught by Professor Robert Bordone of Harvard Law School

We are delighted to announce that Professor Robert Bordone of Harvard Law School assisted by Tristan Jones of Blackstone Chambers, a top tier London based law firm, is returning to Denmark in 2018 and this time with an additional advanced Negotiation Masterclass.

The intensive one-day Masterclass builds upon the concepts and tools introduced in the Negotiation Skills Workshop for analyzing, preparing for, and conducting negotiations. The Masterclass focuses on some of the most difficult elements in negotiations including the role of partisan perceptions and emotions in negotiation and the special challenges of multiparty negotiation. 


The Masterclass is based on materials drawn from a variety of sources developed at The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School

Participants who enroll in this workshop will:

  • Gain insights in to the latest research on negotiation to practice: It is based on the best and most advanced thinking on the topic

  • Explore some of the special problems of multiparty negotiation and develop strategies and tactics for managing these challenges.

  • Improve understanding of partisan perceptions, emotions, and identity in conflict situations

  • Practice critically important negotiation skills including framing, listening, empathy, and effective assertion

 

Formål

By attending this seminar, you will build upon basic skills of mutual-gains negotiation and develop strategies for handling complex challenges in multiparty negotiations. You will also practice skills that will help you deal more effectively with highly emotional negotiations and intractable disputes. 
 

Målgruppe

The masterclass is for professionals working in the legal area who have already completed JUC's Negotiation Skills Workshop or who have taken an interest-based Negotiation Workshop in the past five years.

 

Afbestillingsbetingelser

Hvis du afbestiller efter den 18. december 2017, vil der være et afbestillingsgebyr på kr. 2.500. Afmelding 3 uger før start udgør 50% af kursusafgiften. Sker afmeldingen 2 uger før kurset afholdes, udbetales der ikke en refusion.

Kurset kan godkendes som obligatorisk efteruddannelse for advokater.
