Christel May-Worre has just closed the merger between Chr. Hansen and Novozymes and is now Sr. Director, Head of Corporate Legal & M&A/Integration at Novonesis; the company name after the merger.

She had the legal responsibility for M&A and the CFO-area in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S - with indebt internal project organization experience both related to transaction, carve-out and pre-integration work relating to some major acquisitions, divestments and mergers made in recent years.

Christel May-Worre has more than 10 years specialized M&A experience and was prior to joining Chr. Hansen a M&A attorney for Horten Lawfirm with a secondment also to Holland & Knight in New York. Christel’s legal background combined with the strategic, project skills and commercial mindset gives Christel a broader context for evaluating and discussing relevant topics relating to M&A and transition work.

Recent work include sale and carve-out of Natural Colors Division (Oterra) to EQT, acquisition of UAS Labs Inc., Jennewein Biotechnologie GmbH and HSO Heath Care GmbH plus the proposed statutory merger of Chr. Hansen Holding A/S with Novozymes A/S (subject to regulatory approval).

Christel is also member of the commercial network - The Conference Boards Global Merger & Acquisition Council.
