Christel May-Worre is Sr. Director, Head of Corporate Legal & M&A/Integration at Novonesis, the company formed after the merger between Chr. Hansen and Novozymes. She led the legal aspects of M&A and CFO-related areas at Chr. Hansen Holding A/S, gaining extensive experience in transactions, carve-outs, and pre-integration work.

With over 10 years of specialized M&A experience, Christel was previously an M&A attorney at Horten Lawfirm and worked with Holland & Knight in New York. Her legal expertise, combined with strategic and project management skills, allows her to evaluate M&A and transition work in a broader context.

Her recent work includes the sale and carve-out of Chr. Hansen's Natural Colors Division (Oterra), acquisitions of UAS Labs Inc., Jennewein Biotechnologie GmbH, and HSO Health Care GmbH, as well as the proposed merger between Chr. Hansen and Novozymes.

Christel is a member of The Conference Board's Global Merger & Acquisition Council.
